The exterior composition is a striking nod to Nordic minimalism, blending seamlessly into its rugged hillside context. Dominated by a timeless, commanding gable roofline and executed to perfection by Marshall’s Exteriors, the facade pairs warm timber accents with a crisp, monochromatic envelope. Expansive windows are rhythmically integrated into the structure, drawing in the shifting northern light and framing panoramic views of Grey County’s natural topography, establishing a refined yet welcoming street presence.

Inside, the home unfolds across 3,812 square feet of fully realized, open-concept living. Strong Scandinavian influences dictate the interior narrative, utilizing a quiet, organic palette of rich wood tones, soft textured stone, and premium matte finishes to foster a sense of understated luxury. The core of the home is anchored by a vaulted great room where sightlines soar, creating an airy, light-drenched environment that blurs the boundary between the cozy interior and the sweeping hillsides beyond.

The kitchen and dining areas serve as both a functional hub and a sculptural centerpiece. Custom millwork and seamlessly integrated high-end appliances sit alongside statement stone surfaces, while luxury plumbing fixtures generously provided by Cesario & Co infuse an extra layer of tactile elegance into the daily routine. Whether hosting family après-ski or relaxing after a summer day on the Georgian Trail, the space balances large-scale entertainment with intimate family moments.

The private quarters and the fully finished lower level are designed with a sanctuary-first mindset. The bathrooms function as spa-like retreats, utilizing soft stone tiling, custom floating vanities, and refined brass accents to promote ultimate restoration. From top to bottom, the Blue Mountain Hillside Cottage reflects a unified, holistic vision—where design, interior styling, and curated furnishings work in complete harmony to deliver an unforgettable backdrop for contemporary Canadian lifestyle.
