The exterior composition is defined by strong horizontal volumes layered with rhythmically placed masonry fins. These stone elements anchor the home to the site, offering privacy and depth, while the upper-level volume—wrapped in dark vertical cladding—appears to float above. Generous glazing is strategically positioned to frame views, draw in natural light, and maintain a refined street presence. The rear façade opens fully to the landscape, transforming the home into an inward-looking retreat. Large sliding glass walls dissolve the boundary between indoors and outdoors, creating a seamless connection to the backyard, pool, and covered terrace.
Inside, the home unfolds as a sequence of open yet clearly articulated spaces. A warm, neutral palette of natural wood, stone, and soft matte finishes establishes a sense of quiet luxury. Sightlines are long and deliberate, allowing daylight to travel deep into the plan while maintaining moments of intimacy.
The kitchen and dining area serve as the heart of the home—both functional and sculptural. Custom millwork, integrated appliances, and a dramatic stone island balance elegance with everyday usability. A temperature-controlled glass wine display acts as a focal point, blending storage with visual interest.
The living space is anchored by a linear fireplace and framed by expansive glazing, reinforcing the home’s connection to nature. Thoughtful lighting design—combining fixtures with subtle ambient sources—enhances the atmosphere throughout the day and evening.
Bathrooms and private spaces are designed as spa-like environments. Soft stone surfaces, custom vanities, and refined brass accents create a calm, restorative experience. Frosted and textured glass elements provide privacy while preserving light and openness.
28 Broadleaf Road reflects a holistic approach to residential design—where exteriors, interiors, and landscape work together seamlessly. The result is a timeless modern home that prioritizes comfort, craftsmanship, and clarity, while offering a refined backdrop for everyday life.
