FLORIDA

137th Street North

Situated two streets back from beautiful old Tampa Bay and a stone’s throw from the core of St. Petersburg Florida sits this primarily bungalow home design lifted several feet above the grade of the property, to keep it out of harm’s way in the event of an ocean surge event.

Clean, linear, Miami inspired lines was the clients design direction: with an smpl touch, they reinforced. Where we landed was a home that has deep, dark and bold roof overhangs blending with substantial panes of glass, and a linear stone accent to bring the entire concept to life.

Indoor outdoor connectivity in our homes is always a key design factor, but being in a more temperate client like Florida and the abundance of palms available at the local nursery … we took this concept to another level in our first ever southern states project.
