Training our new coop student

This week, SMPL signed an agreement to bring Julia Mancini, from Hamilton (currently attending Mohawk college), to come on board and work with SMPL for an 8 month paid coop placement.

Her background includes a degree and work experience with urban planning, as well as a degree and work experience as an architectural technician. She’s currently expanding her field of studies and decided to go back and complete the architectural technologist program.

During her time at the office, we’ll be looking to expose her to real world construction detailing – dealing with the city permit process – the conceptual architectural design process – and many other exciting aspects of the architectural field.
